It has rained almost everyday here this spring. However, we had a few beautiful warm and sunny days a little while back. It is kind of an unspoken rule in Ireland that if the sun is out everyone stops what they are doing and goes to any patch of grass the can find to lay out and enjoy it. I went to the Stephen's Green, the large park here, during those warm days and I have never seen it so crowded. It is a big park but if you were there during those few days you would have found it hard to find a piece of grass to sit on. The sun hasn't been out much since then, but I will take what I can get. Here is a picture of the trees outside my window in spring...beauty is in the small everyday things.
